I’m a digital marketer with over a decade of experience in SEO and performance marketing living in Bergen County, New Jersey. I started AI Local Business to solve a problem I kept seeing in my own community: great local businesses that were invisible online.
The Bergen County area is home to some of the best service professionals, restaurants, and small businesses in the state. But most of them are relying on word of mouth and a Google listing they set up years ago — if they have a website or digital presence at all.
Meanwhile, the way people find local businesses is changing fast — and it’s not just Google anymore. When someone asks ChatGPT “who’s the best HVAC company near Ridgewood?” or asks Perplexity about “top-rated plumbers in Teaneck,” your business should be part of that answer. Right now, for most local businesses, it isn’t.
That’s what I fix.
I combine traditional local SEO — the Google rankings, the maps presence, the reviews — with a newer discipline called AI search optimization (AEO). The goal is simple: when a potential customer searches for what you do, in any way they search for it, they find you.
