I’m a digital marketer with over a decade of experience in SEO and performance marketing, living in Bergen County, New Jersey. I started AI Local Business to solve a problem I kept seeing in my own community: great local businesses that were invisible online.
The Bergen County area is home to some of the best service professionals, restaurants, and small businesses in the state. But most of them are relying on word of mouth and a Google listing they set up years ago — if they have a website or digital presence at all.
Meanwhile, the way people find local businesses is changing fast — and it’s not just Google anymore. When someone asks ChatGPT “who’s the best HVAC company near Ridgewood?” or asks Perplexity about “top-rated plumbers in Teaneck,” your business should be part of that answer. Right now, for most local businesses, it isn’t.
That’s what I fix.
The work covers whatever a local business needs digitally: showing up on Google (your Business Profile, reviews, and the searches people in your town actually make), showing up in AI answers (when someone asks ChatGPT or Gemini for a recommendation), a website built to get calls, and ads on Google and Meta when they make sense. It all reinforces itself. A good site makes your Google profile stronger, and both make AI more likely to recommend you.
The way I work: AI efficiency with a real human behind it. I use the same AI tools that are reshaping search to do the work faster than an agency with a big payroll, and I’m the human who checks it, explains it, and answers the phone.
The goal is simple: when a potential customer searches for what you do, in any way they search for it, they find you.
Why local?
I live here. I shop at the same stores, eat at the same restaurants, and hire the same service providers as your customers. When I help a local business get found online, I’m improving my own community. That matters to me more than working with a faceless company three states away.
